Howley Hall Golf Club is home to the PGA Yorkshire Open Championships, and is considered one of the finest championship courses in Yorkshire. Given all that, it was the perfect venue for our Second Charity Golf Day, held on Friday 12th July 2019.
The charity of choice this year was the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’. This incredible charity fulfils life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, giving them the opportunity to create incredible memories, build confidence and experience something extraordinary, as well as providing respite from the daily struggles that come with a critical illness. Thanks to our very generous clients, we have raised over £1000 for the charity – so for that, we would like to thank you.
Although the main aim of the day was to raise as much money as possible for charity, it was also a fantastic opportunity for us to build on our relationships with some of our valued clients and suppliers.
The competition was fierce and everyone had a great time taking part. The winning team on the day consisted of Ged O’Reilly (who also managed to take home the prize for the “Longest Drive”), David Armitage, Gearalt Fahy and our very own Alex Veil.
As with any event, there was a lot of effort and planning required, so we would like to credit all who helped make the day possible – without you, this day simply wouldn’t have gone ahead at all.
So once again, thank you to every single person involved.
We’ll see you all again next year!
