Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer in the water industry looking for a new challenge in AMP7?

 

My client are a Tier 1 national contractor who deliver civil and meica turnkey solutions across multiple UK water frameworks. They are seeking a Project Engineer and a Senior Project Engineer on a permanent basis to report to the Project Manager working across multiple Southern Water AMP 7 projects throughout the Kent area

 

Main duties include;

 

  • Ensure internal and external technical specifications meet required commercial and technical requirements
  • Manage subcontractor supply chain throughout the project lifecycle from procurement through to commissioning and handover
  • Review supplier schedules against the Programme and inform the Project Manager of any changes to completion dates
  • Produce monthly progress reports from the subcontract supply chain and coordinate progress meetings
  • Oversee QA document production including FAT documents, O&M manuals and ITPs
  • Supply chain contract administration; using NEC 3 software to notify any EWNs, CEs, CI or scope changes
Experience required;

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience working as a Project Engineer in the UK Water industry
  • Working knowledge of NEC and IChemE contract conditions
  • HNC or degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience of supply chain expedition
  • CDM and health and safety knowledge
