General Overview:
Based Stoke-on-Trent
Plumbing engineer will perform general plumbing repairs and planned maintenance duties on the sites working alone or as part of a team and will report directly to their team leader and line manager to ensure that projects are completed and delivered to agreed service specification. This position requires an individual with good people, communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Day to day completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
· Day to day completion of Reactive tasks
· Report on open work orders on a weekly basis
Ensure all technical elements of the contract meet the client’s requirements.
· Maintain records appertaining to the PPM schedule.
· Take ownership of the client’s needs and pursue effective communications with the customer in order to build a stable relationship.
· Operate the companies QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required.
· Be available to attend or manage emergency call-outs and provide written incident reports as required.
· Ensure that all issues are reported to the Service Supervisor
· Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations.
· Confident in all aspects of maintenance, fault finding and installation work.
· Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
· Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
· Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate.
· Flexible working hours required.
Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their end
