General Overview:
To supervise all planned works activity from costing through to delivery and client billing. To manage subcontractor performance with specific reference to the delivery of planned works including both lifecycle and additional works.

Ownership and delivery of RIE condition survey and life cycle model/report. Support the Engineering Services Manager deliver on the contractual KPI’s.
 
This position is responsible for delivery of variable budget targets, preparing and agreeing contracts by and through the Companies Procurement to subcontracted entities, and management of allocated personnel resource.

This position ties into changes, updates, and modifications to building fabric, mechanical, and electrical assets sitewide across varying risk profiles including public areas, non-public plantroom areas, and clinical / laboratorial sectors of hospital and university / research structure; and as such a focus on delivering safely both to plan and budget is essential.
    
This is a complex role requiring both creative problem-solving skills, high organizational capacity, with the ability to take on multi-role tasks. Further elements of this role include significant customer relational skills across both technical and non-technical personnel and an ability to maintain functionality in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment.

The ability to manage deadlines and re-evaluate priorities in light of changing circumstances are both further necessary. Problems dealt with at this level include design and procurement path development, supervisory challenges, and project delivery with client expectation management.

Quals & Experience:
Sound technical knowledge with a relevant qualification in Building Services / Project Management or relevant experience.

Strong Commercial Acumen responsible for the pricing of works including Sub Contractors quotations, cost management and client invoicing.

Project Management skills responsible for delivering Cap-Ex works between £5K and £500k.

Sound knowledge of OH&S legislation with working towards a recognized OH&S qualification.
