An opportunity to join an expanding Soil Stabilisation Company as a field-based Engineering Surveyor.  As the patent-holder of a GPS driven Rapid Impact Compaction Rig -  that is exclusive to the NHBC (National House Building Council) that can save £m on Stabilization projects and programme  - the company expects its current turnover to quadruple in the next 3 years due to investment in Housing and relaxing of stamp-duty measures.  The roile therefore has the propensity to grow into a large remit on this planned growth trajectory.

  • Utilise Trimble Equipment and  GPS Machine control.
  • Responsible for Topographical Surveys; Setting Out as required; Volume Surveys and Stock-pile surveys where applicable.
  • Report to office-based Engineering Manager that will produce Models and CAD drawing.
  • They work nationally but have an extensive pipeline of work in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Essex.
  • Single project tends to last approx. 8 weeks

  • £15.50 for 8 hour per day; £23.25 per hour after. Average hours Mon-Thur 12 hours from Mar-Oct; Friday finish at 2pm paid full shift. Generally 8 hours in Nov-Feb.
