Are you an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor who is looking to develop their career within a renowned, innovative thinking client?

Due to an increase in workload, are currently seeking a permanent Electrical Supervisor to work as part of an established Joint Venture on the Southern Water AMP 7 framework throughout Kent and East Sussex. Working as the Electrical Authorised Person on site and reporting into the Area M&E Manager, the main duties for the role include;

  • Supervision of site electrical installations
  • Ensure exceptional levels of health and safety are met on site at all times
  • Work to a high standard in line with current water industry standards and specifications
  • LV electrical system safe isolations
  • Verification of new electrical systems
  • Monitor the performance of electrical subcontractors against site programme
  • Review subcontractor inspection and test documentation to ensure they are up to date and relevant to site activities
  • Attend meetings on site including inductions, collaborative planning meetings and toolbox talks
  • Electrical Appointed Person on site, ensuring all electrical safety rules are adhered to and documentation is produced in line with the client safety rules
  • Support the commissioning team on site where required
  • Electrical isolations
  • Electrical safety inspections of both temporary and permanent equipment
  • Assist in compilation of project takeover paperwork
  • Deliver one to one meetings with other supervisors in the supply chain ensuring that take 5s are carried out
  • Electrical testing in line with BS7671
  • Issue limitation of access permits and keep a daily log of site activities
Experience Required;


  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the UK water industry
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • ECS card
  • City & Guilds 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installation
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regs
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing is preferred but not essential
