Our clients are apart of the ESD joint venture working towards maintaining water supply and waste treatment works within the Scottish Water region. They are seeking a talented assistant Project Manager to join their Delivery Team.

The role will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and responsibilities will include:
  • Work at maintaining the highest standards of safety
  • Contributing to the value engineering and buildability of the project
  • Determination to gain agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel
  • Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works
  • Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled
  • Running ECI projects
  • Support the drive for cost control
  • Able to manage multiple or larger packages of work
  • Read & Interpret data, drawings specifications and schedules.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise multiple workloads
  • Adept at interfacing with site team, subcontractors, designer and the client
  • Strong knowledge of CDM 15
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC
  • Commercially Astute
  • Able to interpret, extract and disseminate works information relating to program of works
Experience Required:
  • HNC or higher in Civil Engineering
  • CSCS
  • Office 365 expertise/CAD
  • TWC (Preferred)
  • 1st Aid (Preferred)
  • Relevant Civil Engineering Experience to include pipeline and concrete building works
  • Experience of M&E works
  • Previous experience in a delivery role in necessary
  • A good understanding of water experience is desired but not essential
  • An electrical background in a similar environment is essential
